See Differently is proud to be one of the approved Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) suppliers for the Rehabilitation Appliances Program.

See Differently is also a provider for Optometry services, Allied Health Services and Library Services for entitled veterans, war widows and widowers who are blind or have low vision.

How to Access 

  1. You must be a DVA Gold Card or White Card holder
  2. Determine which aids you require by either browsing this catalogue or visiting the Pirie Street Office
  3. An order can be placed in one of the following ways:
    – In person at the 212 Pirie Street office, Adelaide
    – By Phone – See Differently Customer First team 1300 944 306
    – By email or fax
    Please note you will first need to complete a Direct Order Form prior to placing the order. A copy is available in the back of the catalogue. This form can be scanned and emailed to contact@SeeDifferently.org.au or faxed to (08) 8232 4807.
  4. If you are unable to attend the See Differently to collect the item(s) they will be posted out to you. The DVA will cover postage costs.

How do I order an Optical Aid
(magnifiers, lamps and UV shields)?
 

  1. You must be a DVA Gold Card or White Card holder
  2. You will first need a Low Vision Assessment (LVA). This can be done by visiting your local Optometrist or Occupational Therapist. A copy of this assessment will need to be emailed to contact@SeeDifferently.org.au or faxed to (08) 8232 4807.
    Alternatively, See Differently can conduct the assessment. To arrange an appointment, please call 1300 944 306.
  3. The prescribed optical aid will be provided at the completion of the assessment if provided by See Differently (subject to availability), alternatively the item will be posted out to you if the assessment is provided by your local Optometrist or Occupational Therapist.
